We wanted to alert our Supply Chain Matters readers to an upcoming podcast that will be of benefit to many strategic sourcing, planning, product development and procurement professionals.

I had the opportunity to interact with Graham Scott, Vice President of Global Procurement for global based manufacturing services provider Jabil. His responsibilities are leadership of Jabil’s global commodity management, quoting, supplier relationship management efforts in the Americas, Europe and Asia.

Supply Chain Matters podcastWe have titled our conversation: Overcoming Supply Chain Disruptions and Instilling Supply Network Resilience in Post Pandemic Supply Networks.

Our conversation topics span how Jabil navigated the various global supply chain and transport disruptions that have occurred these past two years. Graham outlines the most important learnings acquired in people, process and technology dimensions along with the importance of maintaining strong supplier relationships. Further discussed are the primary actions that manufacturers and OEM’s are undertaking to address needs for added agility and resiliency. We further explored the relationships of senior procurement leaders with an organization’s C-Suite executives, and Graham’s perspectives on the role of sourcing and procurement transforming itself to be a stakeholder in enabling business strategies.

This is a not to be missed podcast recording that provides many valuable insights.

This episode will air exclusively on Supply Chain Matters this coming Wednesday, September 21st . After a short period, the episode will be featured on other podcast mediums to include Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon and others.
