Historians will indeed record the year 2020 as one where a global pandemic tested the resiliency, ingenuity and the resourcefulness of global populations when it counted most. This year presented a host of simultaneous disruptions, human tragedies and challenges that few have experienced in lifetimes. The value of industry supply chains and the notions of the contributions of all those directly or indirectly associated with supply chain management were recognized and understood by many.
During this ongoing COVID-19 impact period, the Supply Chain Matters blog and our research arm strived to provide enhanced content related to industry, business multi-industry supply chain management and technology implications of this COVID-19 period, and what is to come in the various notions of “new normal.”
On this New Year’s Eve we sincerely thank our many global-wide readers for your continued visitations to this site and to our archive of commentaries. We trust that you have found benefit and added insights. We further hope that readers have been able to take some time to reflect on what each of you has personally accomplished.
For those that have been personally impacted by significant loss, we extend our condolences and hopes for eventual peace of mind.
We can all hope for more positive prospects for the coming year with the help of effective vaccines, a return to normalcy of our daily lives.
Thanks again and accept our toast to Renewal and New Beginnings during 2021.
